Predictions about Cam Newton were accurate - he's an ESTP star

I predicted back in February, after seeing 1 game of Cam playing (the national championship, where he looked like a grown man playing with pop warner kids), that Cam had the potential to be the Lebron James of the NFL.

Hopefully without the 4th quarter meltdowns.

Cam is without question one of the most exciting young players in the NFL, and if he stays on the path he's on, and stays healthy, he can conceivably end his career as the greatest of all time. Yes, I said it.

Why? Well, beside the fact that he's got the legs of Mike Vick and the arm of Tom Brady in the body of Shannon Sharpe, 2 reasons:

1. He's one of the most freakish physical specimen to ever play the game. Built like a tall linebacker or tight end, faster than his receivers with great vision and the ability to accurately throw the ball (witness breaking Peyton Manning's rookie record for yardage). There has never been this complete a package in one quarterback.

2. He's the perfect blend of hyper-competitive personality and funloving locker-room leader, with an on-field demeanor of in-the-moment cool.

The personality, and the reason that physical is so powerful, is simply his brain type. ESTP.

He's also the ESPN - NEXT cover athlete. With good reason.
