Charlie Sheen not an S brain type. Is he INTP or ENTP?

I recently posted about Charlie Sheen, since then he has been a hot topic in the news as his #1 rated T.V. sitcom Two and A Half Men was cancelled for the remainder of the season, when previously it was only on a temporary hiatus.  This is due to his rants against his bosses at CBS.  He called the show's writer, executive producer and creator Chuck Lorre a "turd", as well as calling Mr. Lorre a “clown” and “charlatan.” In an interview with TMZ Sheen seems to make anti-semitic remarks stating, “I violently hate Chaim Levine. He’s a stupid, stupid little man.”  

Around the time that his show was being cancelled for the rest of the season he left to party in the Bahamas with pot-friendly publication Cali Chronic X cover girl Natalie ‘Natty Baby’ Kenly and two other women including his ex-wife Brooke Mueller.  His ex-wife Mueller, not surprisingly grew tired of the foursome and left, which Sheen referenced in a radio interview with Alex Jones.  “Let me just say this, and this is all I’m going to say about this. Where there were four, there are now three,” Sheen told Jones. “Goodbye Brooke. Good luck in your travels. You’re going to need it. Badlly." 

At this point in my opinion it seems like Charlie, becoming frustrurated with the situation is acting out of desperation while trying to make a joke out of it.  Originally, I thought he just didn't care, but I wouldn't be surprised if he is using drugs again and feels hopeless and is acting totally recklessly and putting on a show to try and gain public support for himself while making himself still seem succesful by vacationing with new women.   Shockingly, he didn't totally blow things.  He seems to have public support on his side, while he is viewed as a little crazy, he's also viewed as funny and he recently got a record 1.6 million twitter followers less than 3 days after singing up, a new guiness world record.  His ability to spin this situation to his favor is surprising.  Some claim he may be bipolar as he is acting much more energetic, has delusions of grander("I'm tired of pretending I'm not special," he said. "I'm tired of pretending I'm not a total freaking rock star from Mars."), difficultly focusing attention, etc.   Others think he is on drugs again.  He certainly looked gaunt and is if he'd had a hard time of it.

I will say I have reevaluated my opinion of Charlie's personality type.  Hearing him explain things more I see how he draws unusual connections and analogies that seem more intuitive in nature.  It was already well established in my first post that Charlie was a TP.  What would a NTP look like?  According to type logic, the "NTPs enjoy games, formal or impromptu, which coax analogies, patterns and theories from the unseen into spontaneous expression in a way that defies their own comprehension".  Here are some of his quotes from the past week, they are unusual, witty, almost eccentric analogies and theories which do have an underlying logic to them, in an NP way.  Think an ENTP comedian coming up with zany connections.

On marriage-"I tried marriage. I'm 0 for 3 with the marriage thing. So, being a ballplayer -- I believe in numbers. I'm not going 0 for 4. I'm not wearing a golden sombrero."

On if he fears his show being on an undefinite hiatus-"Well, I mean, first of all come Wednesday morning they're gonna rename it Charlie Bros. and not Warner Bros.  Duh, winning! It's, like, guys, IMDB right there, 62 movies and a ton of success. I mean, c'mon bro, I won best picture at 20. I wasn't even trying. I wasn't even warm."

On his girlfriends-"You've read about the goddesses, come on. They're an international sensation. These are my girlfriends. These are the women that I love that have completed the three parts of my heart. ... It's a polygamy story. All my guy friends are gonna like throw tomatoes at me. It's like an organic union of the hearts."

Also, watching his interview on George Lopez again, (where it's worth mentioning he appears to be sober still :), I noticed he isn't one who seems to react immediately, rather he ponders options and analyzes before answering.  His answer seemed to come from a "why", get to the heart of the understanding of the issue which is more N.  I am fairly convinced of this now.  In my original post the inclination was to type him as an STP as they are the quintessential party types and bad boys.  But, NTP don't fall far behind.  Actually according to a respected myers briggs website(http://www.discoveryourpersonality.com/intp.html) the INTP and ENTP were #1 and 2 respectively in, "Most frequent among college students referred for drug and alcohol violations."  I think there is a tendency to type the N as the "intelligent" type who always thinks ahead and has a deep understanding of what they are doing.  Yet, as Charlie proves someone can be an N and have some of that those downsides, perhaps trying to be too unconventional and open minded. 

Finally, let's ask the question is Charlie an E(extovert) or an I(introvert).   If you base your judgement off of the past week it's obvious Charlie seems like an E.  However, I'm not so sure.  In seeing his past interviews he always seems more inwardly focused, needing time to process rather than just extroverting his way through something.  Now, you could say that may be his N coming out, but I think it's more than that.  Also, take into account at one point when he mentioned, "Public Speaking is a tremendous fear of mine."  Obviously, the inclination would be to type an actor as an E automatically, but I'm not so convinced.  Remember, watch the interview of him on Lopez before he had his drug rampage and lost his show, the guy is an I.   It seems odd to type a famous actor as an INTP, but in this case that is what I believe.  SHEEN IS AN INTP.   While he's not a scientist or a mastermind, he is a creative, free spirit who happens to be a bad boy and a rebel.
